SMART on FHIR

For Smart on FHIR applications, review the check-list items for both the patient-facing and provider-facing applications.

Patient-facing Applications

Create the application in the Allscripts Developer Program portal.
Test the application in the appropriate sandbox for the Allscripts base application. Use the existing patients listed on the Sandboxes page.
Contact your ADP Account Manager or VeradigmConnect@veradigm.com to apply for ADP certification. This is required for applications that appear in the Allscripts App Expo.
Test the application in a live client environment.
- Request that the client create a test patient and then send an invitation for that patient to you.
- Mark the application as Production on the FHIR App page on the ADP portal.
- Acquire the launch URL from ADP by submitting a ticket or contacting your ADP Account Manager.
- Point standalone applications to the launch URL.
